Women’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week

Gallatin set three new career highs and had two double-doubles this weekend to lead the Pirates. On Friday, she posted a near triple-double with a career-high 27 points on 10-16 shooting (5-6 3PT), 11 rebounds and a career-best seven assists in a 76-58 win over Lewis & Clark. On Saturday against George Fox, she added another career-high 12 rebounds to go with 15 points and four assists.
Men’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Ben Tellez I G l Pacific Lutheran | SR | Concord, Calif. | College Park
Tellez averaged 31.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg in a pair of road games, shooting a blistering 58.6 percent from three-point range. Tellez scored 23 points against Linfield on Friday night before setting a school single game record with 12 threes in a blowout win over Pacific on Saturday. Tellez scored 40 points in just 30 minutes of game action, becoming just the eighth Lute to score 40 in a game and the first since 2008.
