The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Swimming for the week of January 20th through January 26th.
Women’s Swimming - Student-Athlete of the Week
Kallie Badry I Whitworth | FR | Nelson, B.C. | LVR Secondary
Badry won five individual events to help the Whitworth women sweep Pacific Lutheran and Puget Sound this weekend and remain undefeated in 2025-26. During Friday night's 151-49 win over PLU, she took first place in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:45.74) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:20.52). She swam leadoff on the Pirates' B 400 free relay that took second place (3:52.79). On Saturday against the Loggers, she raced 2,550 yards to three individual wins - the 1,650-yard freestyle (17:57.16), the 400-yard individual medley (4:43.68) and the 500 free (5:22.16).
Men’s Swimming - Student-Athlete of the Week
Parker Dangleis I Whitworth | JR | Hockinson, Wash. | Hockinson
Dangleis was a key piece of Whitworth's home sweep of Pacific Lutheran and Puget Sound over the weekend. On Friday night in a 159-37 win over the Lutes, he won the 100-yard freestyle (46.64) and led off the winning 400-yard freestyle relay (3:09.24). He was also second to teammate Nathanael Van Liew in the 50-yard freestyle (21.02 - 21.12). On Saturday during a 131-74 victory over the Loggers, he won the 200-yard freestyle (1:44.84), 100 free (46.84) and swam anchor on the winning 200-yard freestyle relay (1:25.56).
