Women’s Swimming - Student-Athlete of the Week
Riley Parker I George Fox | SR | Bonney Lake, Wash. | Bonney Lake

Parker won all four individual events she competed in over the weekend, helping the Bruins women's team tack on two more wins on the season. She opened with victories in the 50-yard freestyle (25.58) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:34.70), recording the eighth-best time in the conference in the 200 and winning the event by more than 10 seconds against the College of Idaho. The senior then won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.22) by more than four seconds and held off the field to claim a .55-second victory in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.15) against Willamette the following day to close out the weekend.

Men’s Swimming - Student-Athlete of the Week
Sam Lyon I Puget Sound | SO | Los Altos, Calif. | Los Altos

Lyon had a great weekend against Southwest Oregon Community College - the No. 2-ranked  NJCAA team in the nation. He won five out of his six events, including the 200 Medley Relay, 500 freestyle, 400 freestyle relay, 1650 freestyle, and 200 freestyle relay. In the 100 butterfly, Lyon narrowly finished in second place with a time of 54.45. Lyon's most impressive race, though, was in the 1650 freestyle. He went out fast to try to set a top time in the 1000, and his split of 9:38.50 was the 24th fastest time in DIII this year. He cruised in the last 650 of the race, still winning by 37 seconds.
