Women’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Hanne Hopkins I G l George Fox | JR | Oregon City, Ore. | Gladstone
Hopkins was a force to be reckoned with for the Bruins, putting together one of her best statistical performances in a 77-50 win over Lewis & Clark. The junior shot 8-9 from the field en route to a 21-point performance. In addition, Hopkins put up six rebounds, six assists, and three steals to help GFU pick up the win.
Men’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Stephen Behil I W l Whitworth | SR | Camas Wash. | Camas
Behil led Whitworth to a pair of NWC road victories by averaging 22.0 points and 9.5 rebounds. He had 24 points and 12 rebounds in the win at Whitman and added 20 points and seven boards in the victory at Linfield. He made 58% of his field goals and 70% (7-10) of his three-pointers.
