Men’s Soccer- Offense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Lucas McAllister I MF I Whitman | FR | Brier, Wash. | Bishop Blanchet
McAllister scored three goals and tallied two assists in two games this past week. In Whitman's midweek win at Whitworth, he scored three goals in the first 10 minutes of the game as the Blues handled the Bucs in a 3-1 win. This past Saturday, he assisted on Whitman's lone goal in a 1-0 win at Linfield.
Men’s Soccer- Defense - Student-Athlete of the Week
Gio Aguilar-Gutierrez | GK I Pacific Lutheran | SO | Spanaway, Wash. | Spanaway Lake
Aguilar-Gutierrez had 10 saves last week, earning a clean sheet in a win over crosstown rival Puget Sound and helping the Lutes finish the week unbeaten (1-0-1). Wednesday's game against UPS included making a save on a PK with the score 0-0 to preserve the shutout in the 4-0 win. Prior to allowing a goal against Willamette, the keeper had gone 263 minutes without allowing a goal, a streak spanning across four games.
