The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Women’s Volleyball for the week of August 25th through September 2nd.
Volleyball - Offense - Student-Athlete of the Week
Caroline Jameson I OPP I Willamette | SR | Everett, Wash. | Everett
Jameson totaled 45 kills over the weekend, averaging 2.65 kills/set and a .227 hitting average. Versus WashU, the #11 team in the nation, she led all players in the match with 14 kills and hit .364.
Volleyball - Defense - Student-Athlete of the Week
Akira Anderson I DS I Puget Sound | SR | Port Ludlow, Wash. | Chimacum
Anderson had a great weekend defensively, recording 56 digs and averaging 5.6 digs/set, which currently leads the conference. She also had a whopping 7 service aces, and saved multiple rallies during the Puget Sound Premiere, helping the Loggers sweep Pacific Lutheran for the first time since 2016.
