The George Fox Bruins will look to extend their championship streak this fall, entering the 2025 season as the preseason favorite in Northwest Conference women’s cross country. The four-time defending champions collected seven first-place votes and 63 points in the coaches’ poll to secure the top spot.
Whitworth was picked second with 54 points and one first-place vote, followed closely by Willamette in third with 49 points and the remaining first-place vote. Lewis & Clark and Puget Sound tied for fourth with 40 points each, while Whitman checked in at sixth with 33 points. Pacific and Pacific Lutheran shared seventh with 17 points apiece, and Linfield rounded out the poll with 11.
The 2025 NWC Cross Country Championships are set for November 1, hosted by Pacific Lutheran University at the PLU Meadows XC Course in Tacoma, Washington.
