The defending Northwest Conference champion Whitworth Pirates will begin the 2025 season as preseason favorites, earning 58 points and four first-place votes in the annual coaches’ poll.
Pacific Lutheran was close behind with 57 points and three first-place votes, while Puget Sound also made a strong showing with 55 points and two first-place votes to claim third. George Fox (42 points) and Willamette (35) rounded out the top five. Pacific (27), Whitman (24), Linfield (17), and Lewis & Clark (9) completed the poll.
The top four teams in the final standings will advance to the NWC Volleyball Championship Tournament, scheduled for November 14–15 at the site of the No. 1 seed. The tournament champion will secure the conference’s automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship.
