Pacific Lutheran will once again enter the year as the team to beat, leading the 2025 Northwest Conference women’s soccer preseason poll. The Lutes, winners of the last eight NWC titles, claimed eight first-place votes and 64 total points to secure the top position.
Puget Sound was tabbed second after earning the final first-place vote and 54 points, followed by Whitman (47) and Whitworth (46) in a tight battle for third and fourth. Linfield came in fifth with 36 points, while Willamette (30), George Fox (20), Pacific (17), and Lewis & Clark (10) rounded out the rankings.
The conference schedule begins September 20, with the NWC regular-season champion receiving the league’s automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Tournament.
