Newberg, Ore. – The George Fox Bruins secured the title of 2025 Northwest Conference (NWC) Women's Lacrosse regular season champions on Sunday, April 27. The Bruins finished the season undefeated in conference play with an 8-0 record, earning the right to host the NWC Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
Joining George Fox in the tournament are the Whitman Blues, Willamette Bearcats, and Linfield Wildcats. Whitman claimed the No. 2 seed with a 7-1 conference record, followed by Willamette at 6-2. Linfield earned the final spot with a 4-4 conference record, finishing in a three-way tie for fourth place with Lewis & Clark College and Whitworth University. The Wildcats advanced to the tournament based on NWC tiebreaking procedures.
The tournament will take place May 2-4 at George Fox University. The semifinals are scheduled for Friday, May 2, beginning with George Fox facing Linfield at 4 p.m. The second semifinal, featuring Whitman and Willamette, will follow at 7 p.m. No games are scheduled for Saturday, May 3.
The championship game will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, with the semifinal winners competing for the tournament title and the NWC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
