The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Softball for the week of April 15th through April 22nd.
Softball- Pitcher - Student-Athlete of the Week
Kenna Davis I Pitcher I Willamette | SR | Alameda, Calif. | Alameda
Davis pitched a total of 17 ? innings over the weekend and struck out 24 batters as she split a pair of starts versus Puget Sound. In the opening game, Davis pitched 10 ? innings, giving up just seven hits and two runs. She struck out 14 Loggers in the extra-inning game before giving up the winning run on a double with one out in the eleventh inning. On Saturday, Davis pitched another complete game, this time striking out 10 batters through seven innings to earn the win. She gave up only four hits and walked two.
Softball- Player - Student-Athlete of the Week
Claire Seats I OF I Linfield | SR | Seattle, Wash. | Bellevue
Seats dominated the Pioneers over the weekend, going .500 at the plate with six hits, six runs, seven RBI and three home runs. Seats' best game came in game three where she went yard twice and notched three RBI as Linfield pulled away for a 10-6 win.
