Women’s Track - Student-Athlete of the Week
Jenna Huntsman I Hept. I George Fox | JR | Walla Walla, Wash. | Walla Walla
The heptathlon athlete ran just one event at the Pacific Open, but left her mark with a 1:05.18 in the 400m hurdles. Hunstman finished four seconds faster than her nearest D-III competition, with her time currently leading the Northwest Conference and sitting 22nd in the nation.
Women’s Field - Student-Athlete of the Week
Ellie Corwin I Throws I George Fox | GR | Powell Butte, Ore. | Redmond
Corwin notched a season-best throw over the weekend at the Pacific Open, tallying a mark of 131' 3" in the women's javelin. The throw, which won the event by 21 feet, puts her at number seven in the nation.
