Baseball- Pitcher - Student-Athlete of the Week
Nate Kerr I Reliever I Lewis & Clark | JR | Encino, Calif. | Taft
Kerr posted a pair of three-inning saves and allowed just four baserunners in six scoreless innings in a pair of conference wins. The junior retired all nine batters he faced on Monday to close out a one-hitter in a 2-0 win over Whitman College. The shutout was Lewis & Clark's first in over four years. In Saturday's game one win over Puget Sound, he worked around three singles and a hit by pitch to close out Lewis & Clark's 7-4 win over the Loggers.

Heron belted six home runs and drove in 12 in a 4-2 week for Lewis & Clark that saw the Pioneers earn their first conference series win of the year. The senior first baseman finished the week 8-21 with seven runs and 12 RBI and slugged 1.238. He hit at least one home run in all four games against Puget Sound, including blasting two homers in games three and four. In the deciding game of the conference series, he went 3-5 with two runs, five RBI and hit two homers to help Lewis & Clark earn a 10-0 (7-inning) win over the Loggers.
