Softball- Pitcher - Student-Athlete of the Week
Rachel Treves I Pitcher I Pacific Lutheran | JR | Bellevue, Wash. | Bellevue
Treves tossed two complete games, including a no-hitter to help the Lutes win all six games in Florida at the Spring Games. Treves struck out five and allowed just one walk in a no-hitter against Widener before striking out three and allowing no earned runs in a complete game victory over Washington College. She finished the week 2-0 in the circle with a 0.00 ERA with eight strikeouts and only three hits and two walks allowed.
Softball- Player - Student-Athlete of the Week
Zoe Smithson I C/OF I Pacific Lutheran | JR | Port Angeles, Wash. | Port Angeles
Smithson hit .619 at the plate in Florida with eight extra base hits and 19 RBIs, helping the Lutes finish the weekend 6-0. The junior had an extra base hit and an RBI in all six games over the weekend, finishing the weekend with two doubles, three triples, and two home runs, including a grand slam. Smithson had a 1.381 slugging percentage and didn't strike out in her 21 at bats while scoring nine runs.
