Women’s Swimming - Student-Athlete of the Week
Isabella Hoopes I Whitworth | SO | Everett, Wash. | Glacier Peak
Hoopes led Whitworth to a 157-102 win over Whitman in the dual meet season finale by finishing first in all three of her individual events and also was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:51.91). She won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:24.13, the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:26.95 and the 200-yard I.M. in 2:13.05.
Men’s Swimming - Student-Athlete of the Week
Henry Brewster I Whitworth | SO | West Vancouver, B.C | Collingwood
Brewster played a big part in Whitworth's 167-95 win at Whitman in the dual meet season finale on Saturday by finishing first in two individual events and participating on a pair of Pirate relays. Brewster won both butterfly races, touching first in the 200-yard (1:58.14) and 100-yard (53.38) distances. He also swam the butterfly leg on Whitworth's winning 200-yard medley relay (1:37.45). He led off the Pirates' “B” 800-yard freestyle relay that finished third (7:36.21).
