Women’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Korin Baker I F | Whitman | SR | Waucanda, Wash. | Curlew
Baker had a sensational weekend where she averaged 28 points and 10 rebounds to result in wins over George Fox and Pacific. On Friday against George Fox, she had game highs of 25 points and eight rebounds and went a perfect 11-11 from the FT line to help the Blues clinch the No. 1 seed in the upcoming NWC Tournament. The next night against Pacific, she was two points off the program's single game scoring record in posting 32 points to go along with 12 rebounds.
Men’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Emmett Holt I G | Pacific Lutheran | SR | Pocatello, Idaho | Century
Holt averaged 28.0 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game last week, guiding the second place Lutes to a pair of home wins. Holt shot a blistering 69.7 percent from the field during the weekend, including shooting at a 55.6 percent clip from three point range. Holt had a career-high 35 points in a win over UPS while dropping 28 against Willamette.
