Women’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Hanne Hopkins I G | George Fox | SO | Oregon City, Ore. | Gladstone
Hopkins was all over the stat sheet in a 2-0 week for the Bruins. In a Tuesday win over Pacific, the sophomore impacted the game on both ends, finishing with nine points, 10 rebounds, and four assists, before commanding GFU to a win over Pacific Lutheran with 16 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and five steals. In total, Hopkins averaged 12.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 steals to help the Bruins climb to a tie for second in the conference standings.
Men’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Zane Miller I G | Puget Sound | SO | Agoura Hills, Calif. | Agoura
Miller secured 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists against Pacific in the Logger's second win of the weekend, and began the weekend with 24 points and 10 rebounds against Linfield. The Loggers' last two wins have pushed them back to a winning record, largely at the result of Miller's efforts.
