Women’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Hanne Hopkins I G l George Fox | JR | Oregon City, Ore. | Gladstone
Hopkins was the driving force behind George Fox's nail-biting 62-61 victory over Redlands. The junior totaled a career-high 23 points on 10-17 shooting to go alongside five assists and four rebounds. Hopkins had seven straight points in the fourth quarter to help the Bruins go from a 55-50 deficit to a 57-55 lead. In the closing seconds, up 62-61, she recorded the game-winning block at the buzzer to give Fox the win.
Men’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Andre Treadwell I G l Lewis & Clark | SR | Sacramento, Calif. | College of the Sequoias (CCCAA)
Treadwell posted a game-high 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Lewis & Clark past Whittier 99-90. The senior went 9-15 from the field and hit three of his six 3-point attempts. Treadwell's double-double was the second of his season and fourth of his career and helped the River Otters hand the Poets their first loss of the season (3-1).
