Schuh, Williams, & Bone Named NWC Football Student-Athletes of the Week

The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Football for the week of November 11th through November 17th.

Football - Offense - Student-Athlete of the Week
Jacob Schuh I RB I Pacific Lutheran | SR | Mount Vernon, Wash. | Anacortes

Schuh ran for 285 yards and scored three touchdowns and threw for another in PLU's 55-21 victory over George Fox. Schuh averaged 11.4 yards per rush and also had one catch for 25 yards. Schuh's day helped him eclipse 1,000 yards on the season, becoming the first Lute to do so since 2014. Schuh leads the league in rushing with 1,105 yards a total that ranks 25th in all of NCAA Division III. 

Football - Defense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Omari Williams I CB | Pacific Lutheran | JR | Seattle, Wash. | Kentlake

Williams had a career-high 14 tackles, including 13 solo stops, in Whitworth's win over Puget Sound.  He also broke up four passes against the Loggers.

Football - Special Teams - Student-Athlete of the Week
Iden Bone I PK I Whitworth | JR | Moses Lake, Wash. | Moses Lake

Bone kicked his 15th field goal of the season, breaking the Whitworth school record he shared with Rehn Riley (2015).  He is 15 of 18 this season and ranks second in NCAA Div. III in field goals per game and eighth in field goal percentage (83%). He also made all eight extra points to remain perfect on PATs in 2025.
