Link & Billings Named NWC Swimming Student-Athletes of the Week

The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Swimming for the week of January 21st through January 27th.

Women’s Swimming - Student-Athlete of the Week
Trinity Link I Puget Sound | FR | Gig Harbor, Wash. | Curtis

Against Willamette, Trinity Link finished first in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 25.64, first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.00, and first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.44. Against Linfield, she earned first place in the 100-yard freestyle, with a time of 54.68, and then the 200-yard medley, with a time of 2:12.33. She also contributed to the Logger Women's 1st place finish in the 400-yard medley relay, with a team time of 4:11.36.

Men’s Swimming - Student-Athlete of the Week
Ezra Billings I Lewis & Clark | JR | Fairbanks, Alaska | Northern Michigan University 

Billings won all six of his events over the weekend to help Lewis & Clark sweep Willamette University and Pacific Lutheran University. The junior earned wins in the 50 Free (21.67), 100 Free (48.77) and the 400 Free Relay (3:20.07) to help Lewis & Clark earn their first win in 2025. On Saturday, he swam the 100 Backstroke for the first time all season and claimed a win in (56.70). He tacked on victories in the 50 Free (21.43) and the 200 Free Relay (1:27.68). Billings continues to own the fastest time in the NWC in the 50 Free (20.79) and 100 Free (45.87) and both of his 50 Free times over the weekend would rank in the top-10 in the conference.
