The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Women’s Volleyball for the week of August 26th through September 3rd.
Volleyball - Offense - Student-Athlete of the Week
Ayre Takamoto I S I Pacific Lutheran | FR | Honolulu, Hawaii | Kalani
Takamoto made her Lute debut over the weekend, racking up 145 assists and 14 aces. Takamoto currently leads the NWC in assists, assists per set, and aces. Takamoto had 41 assists and 14 digs in the season opening win over Clarkson, one of two double-doubles for the first-year over the course of the four matches played in Walla Walla.

Taylor Miche I Libero I Whitworth | SR | Spokane, Wash. | Mt. Spokane
Miche was named to the All-Tournament team at Whitman's Whit Classic. She led the Pirates defensively to a 3-0 start by averaging 5.22 digs per set. She also served a pair of aces.
