The three time defending NWC Champions, the George Fox Bruins earned 8 first place votes and 64 points to take the top spot in the Northwest Conference Women’s Cross Country preseason poll, as voted on by NWC head coaches. Lewis & Clark earned 56 points and one first place vote for second in the poll, followed by Whitworth with 47 points.
Willamette earned 41 points to finish fourth in the poll. Pacific finished fifth with 35 points, followed closely by Whitman with 31 points and Linfield with 21 points. Pacific Lutheran (19) and Puget Sound (10) round out the poll.
The 2024 Northwest Conference Cross Country Championships will be hosted by Willamette University on November 2nd.
