Colyer & Schwab Named NWC Baseball Student Athletes of the Week

HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Baseball for the week of April 29th through May 8th.

 

Baseball- Position - Student-Athlete of the Week
CJ Colyer I Outfield I Pacific | SR | Gilroy, Calif.  I Gilroy

Colyer became the first Boxer baseball player to ever hit 20 home runs and steal 20 bases in a single season. The Pacific senior hit three home runs, a double and had six RBIs to lead the Boxers to a series sweep of Lewis & Clark on Sunday and Monday. With the three wins, Pacific qualified for the Northwest Conference Baseball Tournament for the fifth straight season.

Schwab pitched for 8.0 innings earning eight strikeouts with no earned runs and allowing just five hits on the day against the Loggers Tacoma rivals the Pacific Lutheran Lutes. The win gave the Loggers the series.
