Hillsboro, Ore. - The George Fox Bruins look to claim their seventh consecutive NWC Men’s and Women’s Track & Field title in the 2024 season. The Bruins have claimed the top spot in the men’s preseason poll, as voted on by NWC head coaches. George Fox received 64 points and 8 first place votes. The Whitworth Pirates claimed second with 56 points and one first place vote.
Pacific Lutheran received 47 points for third, followed by Pacific (Ore.) with 41 points. Lewis & Clark landed in fifth with 33 points, just ahead of Linfield with 32 points and Willamette with 27 points. Puget Sound (16) and Whitman (8) round out the polls.
The outdoor season kicks off the first weekend of March. The NWC track & field multi event championship will be held April 8-9 at Willamette University and the 2024 NWC track & field championship will be held April 29-30th at George Fox University.
