Women’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Korin Baker I F | Whitman | SR | Waucanda, Wash. | Curlew
Baker averaged 20 points over two games to help No. 13 Whitman to a 1-1 week. Baker nearly posted a double double (21 points, 9 rebounds) on a solid 9-16 shooting night against an undefeated Lewis-Clark State College team. She had another solid shooting night one day earlier in a win over the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, shooting 6-10 from the floor for 19 points to go along with six rebounds and three steals.
Men’s Basketball - Student-Athlete of the Week
Brandin Riedel I C | Pacific Lutheran | SR | Olympia, Wash. | Capital
Riedel scored 16 points in Pacific Lutheran’s 81-29 dominating win over Portland Bible College. He made seven field goals and went two-for-four from the free throw line.
