Austin, Tex.- The 2024 Academic All-America® Men’s Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), was announced on December 10, 2024. These student-athletes are recognized for their effort and performance both in the classroom and on the field.
Pacific Lutheran senior Cole Dobson (Spokane, Wash. / University) was named to the 2024 Academic All-America® Men’s Soccer Third Team. He was one of nine repeat Academic All-America selections. Dobson achieved a 3.86 cumulative grade point average while studying business to earn his spot on the team.
The three time NWC Defensive Player of the Year, appeared and started in 20 games for the Lutes, scoring two goals and recording one assist. He helped the Lutes to a 13-3-5 overall record in the 2024 season. The Lutes were the 2024 NWC Men's Soccer champions.
The complete Division III team had an average 3.92 GPA and recognizes 34 student-athletes.
