Lahusky, Davis-White, & Schaan Named NWC Football Student-Athletes of the Week

The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Football for the week of November 12th through November 18th.

Football - Offense - Student-Athlete of the Week
Jordan Lahusky I RB I Lewis & Clark | JR | Phoenix, Ariz. | Thunderbird

Lahusky posted his first collegiate 100-yard rushing and 100-yard receiving games of his career to help lead Lewis & Clark past Willamette in the Wagon Wheel Rivalry Game. The junior running back racked up 230 total yards and two touchdowns to outgain Willamette by himself. He averaged 9.46 yards per carry with 13 rushes for 123 yards and a touchdown. Lahusky tacked on four catches for 107 yards (26.75 yards per catch) and a touchdown. On a wet and windy day that saw the two teams combine for 10 fumbles, Lahusky did not fumble the ball once. 

Football - Defense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Kalen Davis-White I LB | Pacific Lutheran | SR | Hilo, Hawaii | Hilo

Davis-White had 13 tackles, including 11 solo takedowns, one interception and a pass break up in PLU's 34-21 win over Puget Sound. Davis-White and the rest of the defense shut out the Loggers in the second half to win “The Trophy” for the fourth consecutive season. 

Football - Special Teams - Student-Athlete of the Week
Kiegan Schaan I S I George Fox | SR | Medford, Ore. | Cascade Christian

In addition to his defensive prowess, finishing the game with 10 tackles, Schaan made an impact for the Bruins' special teams unit against Pacific. Schaan blocked two PATs on the day, both of which were returned for two points. Over the last two games, the fifth-year senior has blocked three kicks.
