The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Football for the week of October 8th through October 14th.
Football - Offense - Student-Athlete of the Week
Ryan Blair I QB I Whitworth | SR | Spokane, Wash. | Mead
Playing only through the first series of the second half, Blair completed 17 of 22 passes (77.2%) for 304 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in a 48-0 win over Willamette on Saturday. The Pirates led 42-0 at the time he left the game. Blair’s touchdown to interception ratio increased to 20-1 this season.
Football - Defense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Noah Tack I LB I George Fox | JR | Parker, Colorado | Lutheran
Tack was a force to be reckoned in a dominant 40-14 homecoming victory over the Puget Sound Loggers. The fifth-year senior linebacker ended the day with 11 tackles, 2.5 sacks for 26 yards, a quarterback hurry, a pass breakup, and a forced fumble that led to the Bruins' first points of the game. Tack's performance led the GFU defense, who held the No. 4-ranked passer in the nation in Mason Binning (who had been averaging 320 yards prior to the game) to 184 passing yards and Puget Sound to 14 points, their lowest point total on the season thus far.

Connor Meade I WR I Pacific Lutheran | SO | Tacoma, Wash. | Silas
Meade returned the opening kickoff 90-yards for a touchdown in Saturday's road win over Pacific. Meade finished the day with two returns for 105 yards while also catching two passes for 43 yards.
