Men’s Cross Country- Student-Athlete of the Week
Jay Chew I Willamette | SO | Elk Grove, Calif. | Laguna Creek
Chew earned 28th place out of 138 runners in the men's 6-kilometer race at the Linfield Harrier Classic on Friday, Sept. 1. He was the top finisher from NCAA Division III. His time was 19:17.0.
Women’s Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week
Annie Berry I Pacific (Ore.) | SR | Albany, Ore. | West Albany
At the Linfield Harrier Classic, Annie Berry placed 30th and was the first NWC and Division III runner across the finish line. Pacific's women took 6th place with 172 points, and were the highest placing NCAA DIII team in the meet.
