Women’s Track Student-Athlete of the Week
Amelia Hewson I Whitworth University | SR | Seattle, Wash. | The Northwest School
Hewson won the 100 hurdles in a conference-best time of 14.39. She was second in the 100 dash in 12.47, just off her PR. She was on Whitworth's 4x100 relay that posted an NWC-best time of 47.87, just off of the school record.
Women’s Field Student-Athlete of the Week
Allyson Hammond I Pacific University | Forest Grove, Ore. | Forest Grove
Hammond had a very successful week in the long jump for the Boxers earning a first place finish at the L&C Larry Byerly Invite with a jump of 5.41m. With this jump this weekend, Hammond now leads the conference in the Long jump by 15 centimeters.
