Women’s Track Student-Athlete of the Week
Kenzie Feinglas I Linfield University | SR | Sammamish, Wash. | Eastlake
Feinglas won the 100-meter and 200-meter dash at the Lane Community College Open. She turned in a top time of 12.50 seconds in the 100. Her winning mark of 25.59 seconds in the 200 was a season best. Feinglas was also a member of Linfield's 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams that placed second.
Women’s Field Student-Athlete of the Week
Ava Nelson I Pacific Lutheran University| SO | Mossyrock, Wash.| Mossyrock
The defending D3 national champion won the javelin for the second straight week, edging 2018 national champion and Lute alum Machaela Swartout by over 2 feet. Also placed fourth in the discus with a personal best throw. Currently ranks NO. 1 in D3 in the javelin and is ranked 6th in D3 in the discus.
