HILLSBORO, Ore. – George Fox has been selected as the Northwest Conference frontrunner for the 2023 season, as voted on by conference head coaches. This comes after a 2022 Conference title for the Bruins. The Bruins earned 64 points and 8 first-place votes. Pacific Lutheran ranks second in the poll with 54 points followed by Whitworth with 52 points and 1 first-place vote.
Pacific (Ore.) takes the fourth spot on the list with 42 points, while Lewis & Clark received 35 points for fifth. Linfield received 30 points for sixth. Puget Sound (20), Willamette (19), and Whitman (8) round out the poll.
The outdoor season will begin for most the weekend of March 5th. The 2023 NWC Championship will take place April 22-23rd at the University of Puget Sound.
