Women’s Basketball- Student-Athlete of the Week
Sydney Reisner I Guard I Pacific Lutheran | SO | Burlington, Wash. | Burlington-Edison
Reisner, the reigning NWC Rookie of the Year, averaged 15.0 ppg, and shot 46.7 percent from three-point range in a trio of wins in Texas. Reisner dropped a season-high 22 points, including drilling the game winning three in the final seconds over previously-unbeaten Texas Lutheran last Wednesday in a game the Lutes set a school record for threes in a game. Reisner added 13 in a win over Concordia and 10 in a victory at the expense of Southwestern.
Reisner was a perfect 8-for-8 at the free throw line while netting 2.7 rpg, 2.0 apg, and five steals.
Men’s Basketball- Student-Athlete of the Week
Jojo Anderson I Guard I Whitworth | JR | Spokane, Wash. | Mt. Spokane
In the Pirates' only game last week, Anderson led Whitworth to a 95-83 win over Northwest (Wash.) by scoring a career-high 33 points as well as leading the team in rebounds (9) and assists (5). He made 12-18 shots from the field (66.7%) and 9-12 from the free throw line (75%).
