Women’s Basketball- Student-Athlete of the Week

Baker led the team to two road wins over the weekend, nearly pulled off double doubles in both. In the first game against Northwest University she dropped a game- career-high 30 points to go along with nine rebounds…second night against The Evergreen State College she posted nine rebounds and nine points.
Men’s Basketball- Student-Athlete of the Week
James Moore I W I George Fox | SR | Salem, Ore. | Blanchet Catholic
Moore came alive in the Bruins' game against Colorado College, tying his career high with 22 points. The senior finished 5-11 from the field, 2-6 from three and 10-11 from the free throw line — sinking clutch shots at the stripe down the stretch to guide GFU to a 73-69 win over the Tigers. The following day against Portland Bible, Moore helped the Bruins take down the Arrows, 116-44, in one of the largest wins in school history. In just 15 minutes of action, the senior finished with seven points on 50% shooting. In a 2-0 weekend for Fox at Pacific's Ken Schumann Classic, Moore averaged 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists.
