HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Football for the week of November 7th through November 13th.
Football- Offense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Austin Ewing I QB I Whitworth | GR | Kealakekua, Hawaii | Konawaena
Ewing completed 37 of 52 passes for 338 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for a touchdown, in a 28-24 come-from-behind win at Linfield that ended the Wildcats' 33-game NWC winning streak. He threw the game-winning touchdown pass with 29 seconds left in the game, culminating a 14-play, 75-yard drive in which he completed two third down and one fourth down pass for first downs.

Zach Brooks I LB I Whitworth | JR | Davis, Calif. | Davis
Brooks had ten tackles, including one sack, and also recovered a fumble to lead the Pirates' 28-24 come-from-behind win at Linfield on Saturday, which ended the Wildcats' 33-game NWC winning streak.
Football- Special Teams- Student-Athlete of the Week
Ben Rembisz I K | George Fox | FR | La Center, Wash. | La Center
Rembisz rounded out a stellar freshman campaign with a perfect night kicking for the Bruins in their 45-42 win over Pacific. The freshman finished his day 6/6 on PATs and 1/1 on field goals — with his third quarter 29-yard shot ultimately being the difference in George Fox's three-point win. In addition to his PATs, Rembisz totaled 417 yards on eight kickoffs.
