Men’s Soccer- Offense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Cole Friesen I F I Whitworth | SO | Chula Vista, Calif.| Eastlake
Friesen had another huge offensive week. He totaled five goals and two assists (12 points) in two wins. In a 6-1 win over L&C he had two goals and one assist. In a 7-0 win over GFU, he had three goals and an assist. He has scored two or more goals in five consecutive games.
Men’s Soccer- Defense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Alex White I D I Pacific Lutheran | SR | Henderson, Nev. | Coronado
White anchored a defensive backline that allowed just seven shots on goal in a pair of blowout wins to remain in first place in the NWC standings. White played all 90 minutes in a 6-2 win over Puget Sound that saw the defense allow just five total shots. On Sunday, White helped the team earn its fifth clean sheet of the fall, allowing just three shots on goal.
