Men’s Soccer- Offense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Craig Johnson I M I Pacific Lutheran | SR | Puyallup, Wash.| Puyallup
Johnson finished the weekend with two goals and two assists, helping the Lutes extend their win streak to six and their unbeaten run to 13 (10-0-3). Johnson had a pair of goals and an assist in a 7-0 thrashing of George Fox on Saturday before assisting on the game winning goal in a 2-0 win over Linfield on Sunday.
Johnson ranks 5th in D3 in total points (42) and 10th in total goals (17).
Men’s Soccer- Defense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Cole Dobson I D I Pacific Lutheran | SR | Spokane, Wash. | University
The reigning NWC Defensive Player of the Year scored a goal and anchored a defense that collected a pair of shutouts and allowed just five shots on goal all weekend. Dobson scored a goal and helped the defense allow just two total shots and just one on frame in a 7-0 blowout win over George Fox. The following day, Dobson & Co. limited Linfield to just four shots on goal in a 2-0 win to extend the Lutes' win streak to 6 and unbeaten run to 13 (10-0-3).
