HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Football for the week of October 16th through October 23rd.
Football- Offense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Darius Chaffin I QB I Pacific Lutheran | JR | Kalihi, Hawaii | W.R. Farrington
Chaffin threw for five touchdowns and ran for another in PLU's 49-14 win over Lewis & Clark. Chaffin completed his first 13 throws of the game, finishing 17-for-20 with 276 yards while adding 63 yards on the ground. The junior has thrown nine TDs and ran for 2 TDs with no interceptions over the last two games.

Daniel McKeirnan I FS I Whitworth | JR | Spokane, Wash. | Gonzaga Prep
McKeirnan added to his league-leading interception total with two in Whitworth's win over Pacific on Saturday. He now has five for the season in six games. He finished with nine tackles, including seven solo stops, and also had two other pass deflections in the game.

Ben Rembisz I K | George Fox | FR | La Center, Wash. | La Center
Rembisz was perfect on all nine of his extra points for the Bruins in their 63-10 win over Willamette and recorded a career-high two touchbacks on his kickoffs. The freshman's ninth extra point of the day was George Fox's 63rd point, a program record for most scored in a game.
