HILLSBORO, ORE.- Following their 2022 NWC Championship win, Pacific (Ore.) baseball is expected to return to the top for the 2023 season, as voted on by NWC head coaches. The Boxers earned 63 points with 7 first place votes. Linfield ranked second in the polls with 52 points and 1 first place vote.
Pacific Lutheran takes the 3rd spot with 49 points followed closely by 4th place George Fox who received 1 first place vote. Willamette received 37 points to rank 5th and Lewis & Clark and Whitman tied for 6th with 24 points. The poll was rounded out by Puget Sound in 8th with 20 points and Whitworth in 9th with 10 points.
Most regular season play begins February 3rd and conference play will begin February 18th.
Conference championships will begin on April 21st at the #1 Seed.
