Forsyth & Strickland Named NWC Women’s Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week

HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in women’s track and field for the week of April 4th to April 11th.
 
Women’s Track Student-Athlete of the Week
Bailey Forsyth | Pacific Lutheran | SR | Sprints | Langley, WA | South Whidbey
Won the 200-meter dash at the PLU Invitational on Saturday in 24.49. The defending national champion, Forsyth's time currently ranks third in the country.
 
Women’s Field Student-Athlete of the Week
Christine Strickland | George Fox | SR | Javelin | Eugene, OR | Churchill
Strickland recorded a throw of 147-09" (45.04m) in the javelin to climb up to sixth all-time at Fox. That mark is first in the nation and the NWC - it is an improvement on the lead she already held for the 2022 season.
