HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in baseball for the week of March 21st to March 27th.

Baseball - Pitcher Student-Athlete of the Week
Will Clark | Pacific | SR | LHP | Boise, ID | Saint Louis University
Pacific's ace earned his fourth win of the season and it made it 16 consecutive innings of scoreless baseball after his incredible outing on Saturday afternoon. Clark struck out nine batters, the second-most punchouts the left-hander has posted this season. The Boise, Idaho native surrendered just three hits, had great command off the strike zone, and kept the Wildcats' hitters off-balance for most of the contest.

Baseball - Position Student-Athlete of the Week
Jack Thomson | Lewis & Clark | SR | 3B | Millbrae, CA | Saint Ignatius
Thomson continued to cause Northwest Conference pitcher’s nightmares as he finished the week hitting .429, with a .629 on-base percentage and 1.214 slugging percentage. The senior third baseman went 6-14 with nine runs scored and nine RBI in a week that saw the Pioneers earn three key NWC wins (3-2). He belted two doubles and three home runs and reached base 12 times without swinging the bat (10 walks and two hit by pitches). Thomson hit safely in the first five games and walked four times (0-2) in the final game. On Saturday, Thomson hit a three-run, game-tying home run against NWC league-leader Pacific Lutheran as part of an 8-7 comeback victory.
