Baseball - Pitcher Student-Athlete of the Week
Will Clark | Pacific | LHP | JR | Boise, ID | Saint Louis University
Will Clark (Junior/Boise, ID) put together a brilliant outing to earn his third win of the series. The Pacific southpaw threw five scoreless innings while surrendering just five hits and striking out six batters.
Baseball - Position Student-Athlete of the Week
Jack Thomson | Lewis & Clark | 3B | SR | Milbrae, CA | Saint Ignatius
Thomson hit .636 with a .778 on-base percentage and 1.273 slugging percentage in a 3-1 week for Lewis & Clark College. The senior third baseman went 7-11 with six run scored, two home runs, three RBI, five walks and two stolen bases. He hit safely and scored a run in all four contests. On Wednesday, Thomson scored the game-winning run in the ninth inning of a non-conference win over Linfield University. He tacked on six hits in eight at-bats in a three-game (2-1) series victory over conference foe Georgia Fox. In the rubber match, Thomson went 3-3 with two runs, two RBI, two intentional walks and a solo home run that proved to be the game-winner.
