HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in women’s track and field for the week of March 7th to March 13th.
Women’s Track Student-Athlete of the Week
Kayden Hulquist | Pacific Lutheran | FR | Hurdles | Boise, ID | Boise
Competed in three track events and one field event at the PLu open. Ranks 2nd in the nation and first among NWC competitors in the 100-meter hurdles and ranks third in the nation in the 400-meter hurdles. Also part of a 4x4 that ranks 17th nationally.
Women’s Field Student-Athlete of the Week
Lily Luksich | Pacific Lutheran | FR | Pole Vault | Mill Creek, WA | Henry Jackson
Luskich broke her own school record in the pole vault, clearing 11' 9 3/4" to win the event at the PLU Open. Luksich's vault was 10 inches better than the next best competitor and is the top vault in the NWC and the 3rd best vault in D3 this outdoor season.
