George Fox Leads 2022 Women's Track & Field Preseason Coaches' Poll

HILLSBORO, Ore. – George Fox has been selected as the Northwest Conference frontrunner for the 2022 season, as voted on by conference head coaches. The Bruins earned 63 points and seven first-place votes. Whitworth ranks second in the poll with 56 points and two first-place votes.
 
Pacific Lutheran received 52 points for third, while Pacific (Ore.) takes the fourth spot on the list with 37 points. Lewis & Clark and Linfield both received 33 points to tie for fifth place. Puget Sound (26 pts), Willamette (16 pts), and Whitman (8 pts) round out the poll.
 
The regular season will begin for most NWC teams Friday, February 11th, with conference play kicking off on Saturday, March 5th.
