Softball - Pitcher Student-Athlete of the Week
Momi Lyman | Whitworth | FR | P | Aiea, HI | Kamehameha
Momi went 3-0 in three starts with three complete games. She posted a 0.74 ERA, allowing only two earned runs in 19 innings. She struck out five and walked only one batter. Momi is now 5-1 with six complete games to start her Whitworth career.
Softball - Position Student-Athlete of the Week
Maddy Thomas | Whitworth | SR | C | Milton-Freewater, OR | DeSales (WA)
Maddy drove in eight runs and scored seven in six Pirate wins. She batted .375 (6-16) with three home runs and two doubles for a 1.063 slugging average. As a catcher, she threw out one of the two base stealing attempts against her.
