Pitched 5 1/3 innings for the Lutes, striking out five and allowing no earned runs in Texas as the Lutes started the season 5-1.
Softball - Position Student-Athlete of the Week
Casey Wright | Pacific Lutheran | SO | C/DP | Federal Way, WA | Federal Way
Wright hit .643 at the plate with a .706 on-base percentage and a 1.143 slugging percentage, blasting two home runs and collecting 6 RBIs while also scoring seven runs. Wright's efforts helped the Lutes win five of their six games in Texas. Wright had a base hit in all five games she played in, including two multi-hit games.
