HILLSBORO, Ore. – Puget Sound has been selected as the Northwest Conference favorite for the 2022-23 season, as voted on by conference head coaches. The Loggers edged the Blues with 61 points and five first-team votes for the top spot. Whitman landed in the #2 spot with 58 points and four first place votes.
Pacific (Ore.) landed the third spot on the list with 49 points, while George Fox received 44 points to rank fourth. Willamette earned 36 points to rank fifth followed by Whitworth (27), Lewis & Clark (23), Pacific Lutheran (16) and Linfield (10 pts) to round out the poll.
Conference play will begin Tuesday, November 29 with Lewis & Clark hosting Pacific (Ore.).
