Pauly & Ford Named Golf Student-Athletes of the Week

HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in golf for the week of September 20th to September 27th.
 
Men’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week
Sam Pauly | Whitworth University | JR | Spokane, WA | Shadle Park
Sam was the medalist at the Bulldog Fall Invitational on Sept. 20-21, hosted by Redlands. Among a field of top schools from the SCIAC, he shot a three-round total of five-under. Pauly shot 69-67-69 – 205 to win by one stroke over LaVerne's Michael Ordona (206). Pauly became the first Pirate player to shoot three consecutive rounds with a score in the 60's. He was the only player in the field to do so.
 
Women’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week
Kamryn Ford | Lewis & Clark | SR | Medford, OR | St. Mary's School
Kamryn Ford won the Wildcat Invitational by a wide margin (21 strokes) following another sub-80 round on Sunday. Following Saturday's 77, Ford posted a 79, the only rounds under 80 by anyone in the tournament, to capture the individual title. Lewis & Clark placed third as a team.
