HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in football for the week of October 18th to October 24th.

Football Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week
Aidan Verba-Hamilton | Lewis & Clark | SR | WR | San Francisco, CA | Archbishop Riordan High School
In the only 100-plus yard receiving game in the NWC last weekend, Aidan Verba-Hamilton had five receptions for 131 yards and two touchdowns. His 58-yard touchdown reception gave the Pios their second lead of the game, while his second made it a 10-point margin with 3:17 left in the game. It looks like one of the top receiving yardage totals in a NWC this year.

Football Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week

In one of the biggest solo tackles performances in the nation this year, Sam Meinhard had 10 solo tackles and 14 overall in the Pios 46-29 win over Puget Sound. He had one TFL for 2 yards. There have been 13 games of 12+ solo tackles in the country this year.
