HILLSBORO, Ore. – The Northwest Conference is proud to announce Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of November 19th to November 25th.

Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week - Darne Duckett, Whitman (Jr., G)

Duckett (Oakland, Calif.) led the Blues to a 2-0 week with wins against Sul Ross State and Concordia (TX). The junior led all scorers with 22 points against SRS to go along with 5 rebounds and a game-high 5 assists. He also equaled a career high of 25 points against Concordia with a game-high 7 rebounds, averaging 23.5 points per game on the weekend.

Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week - Molly Danielson, Linfield (Sr., C)

Danielson (Beaverton, Ore.) had two double-doubles in two wins for Linfield in the Ken Schumann Classic. The Beaverton, Oregon native had 27 points and 11 rebounds in Linfield?s 76-62 win over Evergreen State and 14 points and 16 rebounds in Linfield?s overtime 84-78 win over Warner Pacific. She is second in the NWC with 12.0 rebounds per game and 20.0 points per game.

Men's Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week - Alex Johannessen, Pacific Lutheran (Fr.)

Johannessen (Las Vegas, Nev.) won all eight events he competed in at the Bruin Invite, tallying 120 points over the weekend and helping the Lutes win the team title. The freshman's individual victories included a 51.03 mark in the 100 fly, a 4:47.28 time in the 500 free, and a 21.71 time in the 50 free, in addition to winning the 200 free and swimming a leg in the winning 200 free, 200 medley, 400 free, and 400 medley relays.

Women's Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week - Calista Skog, Puget Sound (Sr.)

Skog (Kenmore, Wash.) swam to three first-place finishes against NCAA Division I Seattle University. She was the individual champion in the 50 free (24.56), 100 free (53.37), and 100 fly (58.87), in addition to contributing to the 200 free relay's second-place finish with a 1:41.90 mark.
